Anyone who has been to the Electronic Entertainment Expo can speak about how exhausting the experience can be. Not only do the lights and the sounds combine for an overwhelming experience for attendees, the pressure to perform and maintain composure also puts a strain on attending developers. Fortunately, Take This understands the importance of mental wellness in such times, even during events that are normally geared toward positivity. Shacknews had a chance to sit down with Dr. Raffael Boccamazzo, also known as Dr. B, clinical director for Take This, to discuss the organization's latest efforts and the importance of maintaining mental well being during stressful times.
Dr. B was on-site at E3 2018 to represent Take This as well as the AFK Room, a relaxed environment where gamers and site attendees can escape the chaotic convention floors to enjoy some peace and quiet, engage in calming activities, or speak to staff clinicians to learn more about the charity or about mental health issues, if they so choose.
Game fans or developers who want to learn more about Take This or read some of Dr. B's work can find more information over on the official Take This website or by following Take This on Twitter.
